Cool Million - Cool To Make A Million (Feat. Leroy Burgess) (Ilija Rudman After Hours Mix) x 6th Borough Project - Back To Me

Time for two brand new Disco tracks that wouldn't sound out of place in the 70s/80s. First up is a stunningly funked up Cool Million remix from Ilija Rudman, which features vocals from the exceptionally talented Leroy Burgess (reminds me of Luther Vandross). Secondly is a groovy head nodder from the second sampler for Craig Smith and Graeme Clark’s excellent debut album, which once again sees them in fine form. So funky and old skool, but still relevant - Disco will never die.

Hot Natured - Forward Motion

Featuring the stunning vocals of Ali Love, here is the title and my favourite track from Hot Natured's new EP, Forward Motion. This has got all the right elements to get any dancefloor shaking, mixing a deep groovy bass with foot-tappingly upbeat hi-hats. Try not to dance.

Answers Come In Dreams

I was blown away when I heard Hercules & Love Affair’s first single a few weeks ago. Well, their disco-infused debut album was released the other day, and it’s pretty bloody spectacular. Here is my favourite track from it, which most definitely brings back the funk.

Hot Mess

A snippet was released a couple of weeks ago, but now you can hear the full version of Duck Sauce’s take on Chromeo’s extremely funky single, Hot Mess. Pretty sure this is the first time A-Trak has remixed his brother? Anyway, it’s safe to say that the Macklovitch’s smashed it.
