Example To Become HMV Employee

Elliot Gleave, better known as Example, will be taking a step back from the limelight for a moment and becoming a temporary employee at Oxford Street's HMV store on Monday 5th September. Example will be at the store from 5pm and will be serving customers and offering them advice on purchases. Fans will be in for another treat as he will be signing copies of his new album, Playing In The Shadows, which is released on the same day - free poster for everyone too. Example - Playing In The Shadows (Mini-Mix)

Earlier this afternoon, Example took his brand new YouTube page and let go of this mini-mix for the highly anticipated third album, which will be available to buy on September 4th. The album will feature the #1 hit CTWYKM and the new single Stay Awake, along with tracks produced by many of the biggest names in Dance music right now (see full production credits HERE). WAREHOUSE PROJECT 2011

Never thought this day would come, but here it is, the end of the WHP @ Store Street. For the past 5 years it has been the heart of the Manchester music scene, taking over the the City for 12 weeks of the year and drawing in thousands of people every weekend from all over the World. Stunning line-ups, an incredible venue and a group of people who just adore their music has made for the most unique musical experience possible, and for me it has been the home of some of the best nights of my life. Anyway, earlier today the line-ups for the the 2011 calender were announced - I've selected a couple of my favourites below, but you can check the full list HERE. Hopefully see some of you there.

Example vs. Laidback Luke - Natural Disaster

Here is a radio rip (from a Spanish station) of the collaborative track from Example & Laidback Luke, which will feature on Example's new album, Playing In The Shadows. Not sure how it ended up getting its World exclusive in Spain, but it has. I've kind of lost touch with Laidback Luke's stuff over the past few years, but this is massive - the euphoric production works brilliantly with Example's ever unique vocals. This will no doubt be smashing up Ibiza with CTWYKM this Summer. Pre-Order the album HERE.

A super dope video for the title track and second single from Toddla T's upcoming sophmore album, which will be available on August 15th. Skanky Skanky was cool, but I'm really excited for this release - love the vibe and sound he's gone for. JAM!

Here is the monstrous Nero produced second single from Example's upcoming album, which was given its World Premier on Annie Mac's show earlier this evening - I was lucky enough to hear an early version of this towards the back end of last year, and haven't got the hook out of my head since. The single will be available on 28th August, and will feature on his third studio album, which is set to be released on 5th September. Whilst on the show he unveiled the tracklist for Playing In The Shadows (see below) and explained that it is now available to pre-order on the HMV website HERE. Wretch 32 - Don't Go (Feat. Josh Kumra) (DJ Fresh & Sezer Uysal Remixes)

Here are two smashing remixes of Wretch 32's third single from his upcoming debut album, Black & White. First up is a pretty abstract Electronic rework courtesy of DJ Fresh, who is the man that has brought us one of the songs of the Summer in Louder. The second is a brilliant Tech/Progressive remix from Sezer Uysal, who has been a popular figure on the underground scene for quite a few years now. Future Data don't let their artists put out poor remix packages, and this one is no exception, even though the Manhattan Clique remix is pretty poor. Enjoy, and make sure you cop Don't Go, which is out August 14th.

After reaching No.1 in the official UK chart, Example took to the stage @ Capital FM's Summertime Ball and blew Wembley away with an ever brilliant performance of Changed The Way You Kiss Me. Proud.
