Singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner dropped into the Maida Vale studios today to perform a live lounge session for Fearne Cotton and the BBC Radio 1 listeners. During the session he did his latest single, and a simply stunning cover of Maroon 5's latest single 'Payphone'. Miles and miles ahead of the original (never realised how good the lyrics were until hearing this).

Whilst in New York for his gig at the Bowery Ballroom, This Is RNB caught up with singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran backstage. During their time together, Ed performed an impromptu acoustic performance of Ginuwine's 'Pony', which is one of his favourite 90's R&B tracks. Dope.

Following on from the previous post of the new Disclosure video, here is a cover that Ria Ritchie performed during her recent CJ Soundcheck on DJ Beatz' 1Xtra show. The young singer/songwriter put her own twist on the Womack & Womack classic, whilst interpolating in some lyrics from the aforementioned collaboration with Disclosure. Massive fan of this lady.

Between headlining festivals and designing a shoe that features fish bone (yes, fish bone) graphics, Bon Iver have found time to record a special iTunes session that dropped today. The EP features seven performances, including a cover of Bjork's 'Who Is It?', which has been a staple track in their set since the self-titled sophmore album was released last year.
