The immensely talented Joel Baker takes times off from his current UK tour supporting Ella Eyre to share some brand new material in the form of original track "Hot Air Balloon". I was lucky enough to see Joel perform the track live just last month and was instantly blown away. Unsigned UK talent at it's very best.

"Our Love" the second single and title track from Caribou's new album is granted official visuals following the album's on sale release at the start of this week. The album of the 2015 so far for me. Quite simply, flawless.

With what has the potential to be one of the most powerful concept albums of recent years, Idris Elba last month anounced the forthcoming release of 'mi Mandela', a musical side project inspired by the late South African President Nelson Mandela that has seen Elba uniter some of South Africa's most talented musicians and producers with a few more familiar musical faces such as Maverick Sabre, James Blake and Mumford & Sons. From the trailer alone this looks incredible, can't wait to hear the album in full.

In what seems to be the most convincing Grime crossover track to surface so far, Wiki's Ratking jumps on Skepta's 'That's Not Me' for a special US remix of the grime anthem, released via Boy Better Know earlier this year. Just days after dropping new his Bodhi produced single "1, 2, 1, 2" the incredibly talented George The Poet has treated fans to more new material in the form of concept EP The Chicken and the Egg, which blurs the lines between lyricism, poetry and music in a way only George can. Just days after the anouncement that the pair are to play Madison Square Gardens on NYE this year, Skrillex & Diplo have released their first track together as part of new collaborative project Jack Ü. Featuring British singer-songwriter Kiesza on vocals, the track is typically unsubtle with a big moombah inspired bassline designed to send the kind of stadium sized crowds the two EDM stars now attract into complete meltdown. Still, with these two invovled I wouldn't bet against this one making it as a monster hit.

Uploaded yesterday, 'The Light' is the fifth track to surface from SBTRKT's forthcoming sophmore album Wonder Where We Light and sees the mercurial producer hook up with relatively unknown singer-songwriter Demi Moore, adding to a list of album collaboraters that already includes Sampha, A$AP Ferg & Ezra Koenig. I was lucky enough to see the man himself live at iTunes Festival on Friday and while his set consisted of a mixture of tracks both old and new if that perfromance was anything to go by this album should be very special indeed.

Blige's newest project; 'The London Sessions', which was recorded during her recent time in the capital and sees her collaborate with producers & songwriters such as Disclosure, Sam Smith, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande and Jimmy Napes. The Brits taking over.

As she gears up for the release of her highly anticipated sophmore album, Jessie Ware has shared a fourth track from Tough Love as part of a recent live session at The Barbican. Entitled 'Want Your Feeling', the track was produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco and is, perhaps, my favourite to date from the new album. If you didn't know already, you know now: PMR's First Lady of Pop is well and truly back.
