Dropped yesterday, Coldplay continue to push the boundaries of their sound as they unveil the first single from their highly anticipated and as-yet-untitled sixth full length studio album, scheduled for release later this year. 'Midnight' sees the band once again team up with producer Jon Hopkins and proves Coldplay are unafraid to continue to forge a new musical direction, as they expeirment with a variety of synth based melodies in the absence of the kind of trademark climax their music is so famous for.
