Livewire GOES: Bangkok

Ignoring the sound problems (put on another song whilst watching), here is the incredible new video from Timothy Shieff, better known by many as Livewire. A couple of months ago the Derby-born free-runner took a trip to Bangkok to visit his good friends Anan Anwar and Shaun Wood - they filmed most of the training they got up to, and this is the outcome. Sick, as ever.

Timothy Shieff, the world Free-Running champion, recently made a trip down to Paris to meet up with his good friend Johnny 'Sticky' Budden and shoot a few bits and pieces with some French Parkour performers. Maestro Knows - Special Edition with Timothy Shieff & Jan Barci

While Levi Maestro was over in London recently he filmed a special edition of Maestro Knows with Timothy Shieff, Johnny Budden & Jan Barci, which provides a unique insight into the culture of Free-Running. Having done a 10,000 word dissertation on this sport I can appreciate everything that is being said about the culture now. I have become a huge fan and admirer of what these guys do over the past year, and even more so over the past few months. Brilliant video.

Ignorant Ass Beats

Here is a new mix from two of my boys; DJ Baller B (Benjamin Johnson) & Livewire (Timothy Shieff). Although I have never met either of them, it seems like I’ve known them both for years and the amount of music they have introduced me to is beyond ridiculous. For example; Hudson Mohawke is someone I’ve always known about, but have never taken the time to delve into his stuff. However; this mix has made me appreciate his work and I will now be doing more research into his discography and other artists’ who are similar to him. Been an absolute pleasure getting to know Tim Shieff over the past year or so and seeing him grow

Been an absolute pleasure getting to know Tim Shieff over the past year or so and seeing him grow as both a free-runner and a person is something that I haven’t taken for granted. He is one of the most talented and genuine people I know and this is definitely one of the most powerful and inspiring videos I have ever seen. Stuff like this is the reason why I have chosen to do my Dissertation on Free-Running. Smashed it.
