Q-Tip - Vivrant Thing (Jazzy Jens Remix)

12 years after the release of the original, Swedish producer Jens Helge has given one of Q-Tip's all-time classics a lovely jazz infused makeover. He brings the sample that inspired the track to the forefront, trading Dilla's distinctive thumping bass for the more popular strings-heavy sound of the day. Sick.

Cool Million - Cool To Make A Million (Feat. Leroy Burgess) (Ilija Rudman After Hours Mix) x 6th Borough Project - Back To Me

Time for two brand new Disco tracks that wouldn't sound out of place in the 70s/80s. First up is a stunningly funked up Cool Million remix from Ilija Rudman, which features vocals from the exceptionally talented Leroy Burgess (reminds me of Luther Vandross). Secondly is a groovy head nodder from the second sampler for Craig Smith and Graeme Clark’s excellent debut album, which once again sees them in fine form. So funky and old skool, but still relevant - Disco will never die.

Ed Sheeran - The A-Team (Shy FX Ackee & Saltfish Mix)

Here is the 3rd and final remix of Ed Sheeran's upcoming debut single/EP, The A-Team. This one is a smashing reggae infused jam and comes courtesy of Drum & Bass legend, Shy FX. Here is the final remix of the latest DJ Fresh single, which seems to everywhere at the minute, including the new lucozade advert (see above). Got sent the entire EP last night, and I think it's safe to say that this will be one of the tunes of Summer 2011.

An unofficial, yet brilliant, electro remix from upcoming producer DallasK. He's kept all the Dubstep elements that make it brilliant, whilst creating a whole new twist on one of the best tracks of 2011.

Gravediggaz - The Night The Earth Cried (Katrah-Quey Remix)

Over the past few years Japanese Hip-Hop producers have found their own unique sound; Katrah-Quey is one of those people. This remix is taken from his latest release, Beat Tape Shenmue, which sees original Quey productions alongside remixes of Hip-Hop classics from artists such as NaS, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and more. If you like this, then you should probably get the album. Smooth.

Treasure Fingers - It's Love (Amtrac Remix)

Here is a groovy rework of Treasure Fingers' 2010 jam courtesy of Kentucky born and Miami based House producer, Amtrac. I have always loved this track, but Amtrac has given it a whole new twist in time for the Summer of 2011. You can download all his stuff for FREE from his SoundCloud.
