'Suffocate' is my favourite track from Kinny's amazing sophmore album 'Can't Kill A Dame With Soul', which is the latest release from the ever impressive Tru Thoughts label. Kinny may be a name that doesn't mean much to you, and for those of you who don't know her, she is an opera chanteuse turned singer/songwriter whose lifelong passion for reggae, jazz and soul music intertwines with her classical training for a unique and potent style.
