Calvin Harris - Sweet Nothing (Feat. Florence Welch)

Given its world premiere on Radio 1 yesterday, here is the latest single to be lifted from Calvin Harris' forthcoming third studio album '18 Months', which is set for release later this year. The single features Florence Welch, and as she explained, the song "was a straight up swap between two artists - I wanted a remix, he wanted a vocal… so we traded". Calvin's remix of 'Spectrum' has already taken the charts by storm this Summer, and I would be amazed if this doesn't do the same.

Calvin Harris announces third album title & collaborations

Following a string of hit singles over the past 12 months, Calvin Harris has tonight announced that his third album will be called '18 Months' and features guest appearances from Kelis, Rihanna, Example, Nicky Romero, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Florence, Dizzee Rascal, Ne-Yo, Ayah Marar and Dillon Francis. As you can see from the collaborations, the album will be a who's who of Electronic Pop music at the minute, with Calvin's signature big room Electro-House sound bringing the project together. October 29th is the release date.

Eric Turner - Dancing In My Head (Avicii’s Been Cursed Mix)

After dropping this way back in January(!), Avicii's remix of Eric Turner's 'Dancing In My Head' has now finally been released on Capitol Records. Many people have found it easy to slate Avicii following the success and over-playing of 'Levels', but there is no doubting that the guy is at the top of his game, and this is without my favourite piece of music from him so far.
