German producer Lovebirds puts his own unique funky House touch to the new single from Saint Petersburg Disco Spin Club & Lipelis. Original is lovely, but Lovebirds is without doubt one of my favourite Electronic acts and adds another classic sounding production to his incredible back catalogue. Support.

Sebastian Döring, better known by most as Lovebirds, brings us a beautiful Disco-infused remix of the new Kraak & Smaak single, which sounds like it's come straight out of the 1970's. One of my favourite tracks of 2012 so far, get your copy HERE.

Yesterday one of my favourite singles of 2011, Falling by Ben Westbeech, was released on Strictly Rhythm and is the first single from his overdue new album, There’s More To Life Than This. His soulful, sweetly sung vocals ride insistent, percussion-driven and disco-tinged production by Lovebirds, the alias of Hamburg resident Sebastian Döring. The result is an impressively stylish, surprisingly catchy song that’s as satisfying to hear on headphones, at home or through a car stereo as on a club soundsystem. To celebrate the release, Ben’s label, Strictly Rhythm are giving away an iPod complete with the labels entire back catalog and a podcast featuring a chat and mini-mix with Ben himself. Here are two new House tracks for you, which are simply breath-taking. First up is the B side from the Lovebirds’ latest EP, Love And Happiness, which is called Rain. Everything about this is just stunning.
Next up is a track called ‘Right Mj’, which features on Pierre Santino’s latest album, Bebop. Earlier in the year he released another album called Jazzy Sunshine, which has been one of the most played House releases in my iTunes. The guy is a genius - nobody can quite mix House & Jazz in the way this man can. Music doesn’t get much better.
