Example signs US deal with Mercury Records

After a massive 2011, which saw Example have two no.1 singles and a no.1 album, he today announced that he has signed a US deal with Mercury Records. With the fourth album well under way, this is the perfect time for the Fulham-born singer/rapper to try and take over the States. Statement from the man himself after the jump. Ed Sheeran to launch Paw Print Records

On November 21st Ed Sheeran took to his Twitter to tell his followers that there would be some exciting news announced in early December. As promised, Sheeran yesterday announced that he will be launching his own record label, Paw Print Records, which will allow him to independantly release and own all of his old material. The five EPs are set to be released on December 12th and are something that every music lover needs to have in their collection. Onwards and upwards.
