Now, I love Adele as much as anyone, but after hearing this it made me feel like the song was actually written for John Legend. I expected greatness when I saw he had covered Rolling In The Deep, but I never expected it to be this good. One of the best covers you will ever hear. I love John.

First single off J. Period’s mixtape, Wake Up! Radio (available now), which sees Black, Rakim & JL revisit the classic Eric B & Rakim original. Thought is a lyrical genius. You can also check the sick new documentary about The Roots which dropped yesterday.

Following on from his critically acclaimed Humble EP’s, Drum & Bass producer Marcus Visionary has released the highly anticipated Humble LP, which really has blown me away. Featuring Goldstar, this track is simply one of the most incredible pieces of music I have ever heard. If more Drum & Bass/Jungle was like this then it would definitely be one of my favourite genres. The way he has used the John Legend sample is pure genius. Skank?

Got sent the remixes for Magnetic Man’s latest single last week, and was blown away by all 3. Breakage & Skream both smashed it, but this Soul mix by Yoruba is an amazing take on the track. I love John.

Can’t explain how good it is to see Pete Rock & CL working together again. This is fucking unreal. And yes, the fucking was necessary.
