FNR (For No Reason) - Move D, Tristan Da Cunha & Cottam (New Year's Eve 2011)

FNR plan to see the New Year in with a bang in two weeks time by inviting a couple of House legends to the incredibly intimate Café Bar, which has become one of the most well-respected hidden gems in the North over the past couple of years. My birthday is New Year's Eve, and this is where I'll be spending it this year with my closest friends, as ever. Extremely excited to see Move D, and hopefully I'll see some of you down there - if you like House music, this is where you need to be. All the necessary info is after the jump and you can get tickets HERE. Can't wait.

Coldplay - 42 (Andre Giant Remix)

Andre Giant takes one of Coldplay's lesser known tracks and transforms it into a tasy little Progressive House number. Not much info seems to be available on Mr. Giant, apart from this and a confirmed slot on Korn's forthcoming remix album. Looking forward to hearing more of his work...

iamcoxhead - House Music Round-Up 2011

Although there may be a few tracks missing (Top 100 Songs/Remixes of 2011 on the way), here is my round-up mix for House music in 2011. There have been a few mixes throughout the year from myself, and this mix showcases the tracks that were best received in those, alongside some of the tracks that have gone down best at nights/festivals that I've been to over the past 12 months. Easily one of the most enjoyable and tightest mixes I've put together to date, and hopefully you'll all enjoy it and appreciate the incredible music that we have once again been blessed with this year. Listen/download below, tracklist is after the jump and be sure to look out for more special posts coming up over the next two weeks. Love x

Astro Raph - Da House Dewn Boots

The title track and my favourite track from Astro Raph's forthcoming Electro-infused EP, which is set to be released February 1st on Busted Beats. A bit different to his usual work, Astro fuses House and Dubstep to create this simply stunning piece of music that you can't help but fall in love with. The whole EP is on repeat, but this track in particular has blown my mind.

Skream - Warehouse Project 130 BPM Set

Skream, one of the WHP residents for 2011, yesterday uploaded his set from Friday night to his SoundCloud page for our listening pleasure. The set sees him move away from his comfort zone of Dubstep/Disco, to provide us with a pulsating and brilliant 130 BPM set, which once again shows me why he is one of the most talented DJs in the world. Free download below, tracklist after the jump.

Mike Newman & Antoine Cortez - Move Your Feet

Mike Newman teams up with Antoine Cortez for my favourite from his latest EP, Set Me Free, which sees them bring Junior Senior's classic one hit wonder back to life, and gives all DJs a very special secret weapon for their set this New Years Eve. Memories.
