In The Morning
Definitely one of the more anticipated tracks from Cole’s Friday Night Lights. Got a lot of time for this.

Clean version of a track which will be featured on Banks’ upcoming album, Hunger For More 2. Genuinely excited to hear this record now - it could be one of the major surprises of 2010. Pusha’s verse is amazing, as always.
Most of you will know the name Maverick Sabre from Professor Green’s latest single; Jungle. Well now it’s time for you all to appreciate him as a solo artist, because today he released one of the best Mixtapes of 2010. From start to finish it is an incredibly enjoyable listen, but it was this track ‘Memories’ that stood out for me. He has taken the instrumental from my favourite ever song by The Roots (What They Do) and put his own unique stamp on it. This guy has a ridiculous amount of talent and hopefully a really bright future ahead of himself. Now what you should do is go and download the Mixtape for FREE.
Quincy Jones’ new album, Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, is definitely one of the more interesting LP’s of 2010. A couple of the tracks and features are absolutely awful, but there are a few gems on there and this one with Snoop Dogg is a little bit special. Got me really excited for Doggystyle 2.
One of my favourite tracks from KanYe’s 5th studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Have a feeling that a review might be on its way. This guy is a hero of mine. Hit the jump to see the 4 other album covers.
Lupe is on top form at the moment. Lasers can’t come quick enough.
“2-man Big Pun, a one-man Slaughterhouse, 2-album Jay-Z, a one-nigga Wu-Tang, young and hungry Mos Def, a conscious rapper Lil Wayne. And I don’t care for similarities”
Only just discovered this track, which is off Quincy Jones’ upcoming album, Q: Soul Bossa Nostra. An album that refers to Jones’ 1962 release Soul Bossa Nova; with re-interpretations of songs associated with him. Not sure about the hook/chorus, but the verses and beat are sick (B.O.B’s in particular).
No I.D. on the boards, Miss Hudson on the hook, and Common and Lupe on the M.I.C. This is a track that has been on constant repeat for the past 2 weeks. I can now bring you the video to go with it. Everything about this is amazing.
New single of Ghostface’s upcoming album, Apollo Kids, which is scheduled to be released December 14th. Sounds like he’s gone back to the old skool sound for this one. Massive track.
Chiddy Bang have done a smashing remix of the Knocks’ track, Dancing With The DJ. Original is decent, but Chiddy Bang have flipped the sample, added a thumping beat and layered some brilliant vocals over the top to put their own unique mark on the track. Hard to dislike these two.
