UKF, the world's biggest Dubstep channel, have recently announced that they are set to present their first ever show in the USA, with a line-up including Chase & Status, Borgore, Bare Noize, Gemini, Delta Heavy, Dirtyphonics, Xilent & Alex English. The gig will take place at Hammerstein Ballroom on December 1st, is an 18+ event, and tickets are available HERE.

Set to take place on November 7th at Wembley Arena is the Red Bull Culture clash, which will see the arena be transformed into a musical battleground for this unique live event, with four stages, four soundsytems and only one winner. Red Bull are giving music lovers the opportunity to 'Get On Stage' with some of their favourite artists, including Major Lazer, Annie Mac, Boy Better Know & Channel One. After leaving their mark across Europe this festival season, Damian Lazarus & Crosstown Rebels get straight back to basics by kicking off a new series called Rebellion Rave on October 6th in London. For those who don't know, Rebellion is the underground sister label of Crosstown Rebels and prides itself on showcasing some of the most forward-thinking and unique House artists on the planet. A Tribe Called Quest member and Hip-Hop legend Ali Shaheed Muhammad has today been announced for a headline DJ show @ Plan B on September 15th. Support comes from Spin Doctor, Kidkanevil, DJ Excalibah & the Main Squeeze DJs, but it's no doubt that Ali will be the highlight of the show, spinning some of his iconic productions, along with numerous other Hip-Hop/Soul classics. Liverpool-based Discoteca Poca is a predominantly Disco/House night, with previous guests including Dyed Soundorom, Tiger & Woods and Ivan Smagghe. This month The Shipping Forecast venue is currently preparing to welcome Crazy P lead singer Danielle Moore to perform a very rare solo DJ set, which is set to be a rather special night, with support coming from MrPaul & Michael Williams. A bit different to my usual posts, but this is close to my heart. Last year at Bestival my friend Jodi Bickley was biten by a tic - 3 weeks later she suffered a brain infection, which led to her having her stroke - it took her 5 months to learn to walk and write again, but her head continues to get worse. She is currently on 19 (yes, 19) tablets a day, but it's not enough, so her friends have gone ahead to contact one of the top neurologists in the country so that Jodi can be seen privately. However, to do this we need to raise some money, and to get the ball rolling, there will be a fundraiser taking place next month in Birmingham.
