Scroobius Pip - Soldier Boy (Kill Em) (Feat. B. Dolan) (Video)

Scroobius Pip and B Dolan had a day to spare at the end of their recent UK tour, so they grabbed a camera, stole a jeep and made a video for the latest single and my favourite track from Scroob's 2011 sophmore album, Distraction Pieces. Mr. Pip also announced that B Dolan will be joining him on his forthcoming Euro tour - all details HERE. This single will be available on January 29th with remixes from Rout (Enter Shikari), John The Baptist and WBYT!

ManOnWire - In Search Of... Brown Sugar... (D'Angelo Tribute)

With D'Angelo's eagerly awaited return not too far away, ManOnWire flips the R&B crooner's iconic single 'Brown Sugar' on its head. The first half is nice and has the head-nodding qualities of your typical ManOnWire production, but half way through sees an Electronic switch-up that will blow your head off your shoulders. The King's Will - Love, Against Homophobia (Live @ The C.A.M.P.)

Recorded at their first ever gig @ The C.A.M.P. not too long ago, here is The King's Will performing a Dubstep track entitled 'Love, Against Homophobia'. Something a bit abstract that you should definitely listen to with an open mind, but it's very intriguing and I would be interested to see these guys perform at some point in 2012. DubPoetry.

Justice - On'n'On (Brodinski Remix)

Brodinski adds his own unique flavour to 'On'n'On', the latest single to be lifted from Justice's sophmore album, 'Audio, Video, Disco'. Two of the most prolific Electronic acts in France coming together to provide us with a dancefloor destroyer of a remix. Available January 29th on Ed Banger.

MJ Cole - Red & Black

Garage legend MJ Cole brings us an abstract new single entitled 'Red & Black', which sounds like it's come straight out of a score from an intensely brilliant movie. Extremely different to his usual work and not everyone will enjoy this, but I'm a massive fan, and you pick it up HERE.

Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, with a little help from Seth Troxler and the Radio 1 listeners, has put together this special Essential Mix to round up a spectacular year of music. For the past 20 years this guy has managed to keep things fresh and has provided the nation/world with the most up-to-date Electronic radio show of all-time. The House Of Coxhead: Top 100 Remixes of 2011

It's a week before the end of the year, which means it's time for the first of my two 'Top 100 of 2011' lists. This is the Top 100 Remixes of the year, which mainly consists of my favourite reworks from the cream of the crop when it comes to Electronic music, alongside a selection of Hip-Hop/Soul tracks for good measure. When I started to compile my Top 100 Songs in September, I wasn't going to do a remixes list, but then realised how much of a shame it would be to not appreciate the time and effort that has gone into creating all of these songs that have been smashing up our clubs and blessing our ears over the past 12 months. There are some commercially successful remixes in here, along with a few under appreciated remixes and definitely a couple that you will have missed along the way. Granted there may be a few selections that you would/wouldn't have in your list (or higher than I have them), but for me this covers everything positive that has been released in 2011 and the incredibly wide diversity in sound. Skream - Warehouse Project 130 BPM Set
