Nero's Dubstep Symphony

Tonight saw Mistajam and Zane Lowe present a piece of history in the form of Nero's Dubstep Symphony. As the name implies, it saw Dubstep duo Nero team up with the BBC's Philharmonic Orchestra to perform their well-known hits in a completely unique classical style. A couple of hundred lucky people got the chance to watch the performance live at the new Salford based BBC studios, but thankfully it was broadcast for the rest of us on Radio 1/1Xtra, and through the Radio 1 webcam. Jam & Zane are forever pushing the boundaries, and this was no exception - who ever thought you would see a Dubstep duo performing with a full Orchestra? I know I didn't, and I truly believe that this is one of the greatest pieces that the BBC has ever broadcast, which is why I have taken the time to provide you all with the MP3. Wasn't overly convinced when I heard the "I'm drunk in this bitch" intro, but the build up and drop @ 1:09 made me swiftly change my mind. A top Dubstep remix.

True Tiger - In The Air (Feat. Pro Green & Maverick Sabre)

A very clever and brilliantly put together video for True Tiger's new single, which features Professor Green and the exceptionally talented Maverick Sabre. I have a lot of time for artists/video directors that think outside the box like this.

Magnetic Man & P Money - Anthemic

Magnetic Man & P Money performing their collaborative single at Radio 1's Big Weekend. It was only a matter of time until these 4 got together to cook a monster up. Did not disappoint.

Skream - Snarled

Radio rip of the new single from one of Dubstep's pioneers. Mellow, dark and unique as ever, I have a lot of time for this. Banger.

Nero - Guilt (DallasK Remix)

An unofficial, yet brilliant, electro remix from upcoming producer DallasK. He's kept all the Dubstep elements that make it brilliant, whilst creating a whole new twist on one of the best tracks of 2011.

Joker & Jessie Ware - The Vision (Let Me Breath)

Joker has enlisted the vocal talents of Jessie Ware for the first release on his new label, 4AD. This is currently Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World, and you can fully understand why. Take away the vocals and this would still be a ridiculous tune.
