As premiered by Annie Mac over the weekend, here is the vocal version of Shadow Child & Doorly's stomping 'Piano Weapon', which has been co-written by the top-line King - MNEK. I still hope to be hearing the original in the club, but this works just perfectly for the radio. Out November 23rd on Polydor.

Who are Avec, you ask? Well, it's a new act consisting of Doorly & Shadow of course, and they have enlisted Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears to lend his vocals for their first piece of music, which was premiered on Annie Mac's show this weekend. Bizarre collaboration, but an infectious one at that - can imagine this being everywhere over Summer.

Premiered on Nick Grimshaw's show last night, here is Doorly's upbeat bassline influenced remix of the new Kano-featuring single from Clement Marfo & The Frontline. This guy is one of the most diverse producers in the county, covers a wide variety of genres, and usually smashing it every time.

The guys over at The Warehouse Project have today announced the line-up for their 2011 New Years Eve party, which is set to be a special one as it's the last to be held at the legendary Store Street venue. Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac is the headline act, with support coming from her good friends Fake Blood, Jaguar Skills, Riva Starr, Doorly, Mistajam and more.
