Calvin Harris & Example top this week's Cool Cuts Chart

After shooting straight in at #3 with the highest new entry last week, Calvin Harris & Example this week find themselves at #1 in the Cool Cuts Chart with their huge collaborative single 'We'll Be Coming Back'. The single beats off competition from 'Finale' by Madeon, Paul Van Dyk's 'The Ocean' and 'Spectrum' by Florence & The Machine, with notable new entries from Caspa, David Guetta and Layo & Bushwacka. 'We'll Be Coming Back' is set to be released on July 29th, with remixes from Michael Woods, R3hab, Jacob Plant & KillSonik. Looks like Calvin & Example are both destined to top the chart again this summer.

Calvin Harris & Example claim highest new entry in this week's Cool Cuts Chart with 'We'll Be Coming Back'

Following on from the world premiere's of the original and two massive remixes (KillSonik & Jacob Plant) over the past couple of weeks, Calvin Harris & Example have shot straight in at #3 on this week's Cool Cuts Chart with 'We'll Be Coming Back', which is the highest new entry. The Progressive House anthem slots in behind Florence & The Machine's 'Spectrum' & 'Finale' by Madeon - 'Spectrum' is currently sitting at #1 on the UK’s leading tastemaker dance chart, which is compiled from reactions by tastemaker DJs and the Cool Cuts panel, now in it's 24th year. Example is an expert when it comes to putting together remix packages, and it seems as though alongside Calvin, he is now a part of one of the best remixes of 2012 so far. Massive.

Calvin Harris & Example - We'll Be Coming Back

Premiered tonight as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World, here is the highly anticipated new single from Calvin Harris, which is the follow up to 'Let's Go' and features singer/rapper/songwriter Example on vocals. Lots of different versions have been floating around the internet in low quality, but the original blows them all away, and is guaranteed to be shutting down festivals left, right and centre this Summer. Killsonic remix will be premiered next week - out in July.

Florence & The Machine - Spectrum (Calvin Harris Remix)

Not a huge fan of Florence & The Machine, but her new single 'Spectrum' is without doubt one of the strongest tracks from her 2011 sophmore album 'Ceremonials'. Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris has taken the single and added his signature sound to it, which makes it perfect for the clubs this Summer. One of my favourite Calvin productions to date.
