Played late on the other night by Four Tet on his Rinse FM show, here is an unreleased track from the man himself and Burial. Always a dream collaboration, and this is just simply gorgeous.
One of the highly anticipated Massive Attack & Burial collaborations. Basically, Four Walls/Paradise Circus are two Burial mixes of previously unreleased Massive Attack material - at around 12 minutes each, both pieces have been given the time and space to evolve into something really unique and special. Granted it's slightly boring in parts, but the vocal is hauntingly beautiful and Burial's incredibly thoughtful production shines through. Pre-order a limited edition vinyl HERE - only 1000 copies available worldwide. Nothing about this is ordinary.
Please compose yourself before listening to this. Back in 2008 I heard a track called Spirits by a man named Jamie Woon and fell in love with him immediately - since then I have considered him to be one of the best singers alive. This year he teamed up with Burial and has produced this track, Night Air, which (for me) is the best song of 2010 by quite a long way. A snippet was released about a month ago, but you can now hear the track in full below. Trust me; this is breath-taking.
