Kelly Rowland launches biggest ever BBC Radio 1Xtra Live

BBC Radio 1Xtra Live is back, bigger and better than ever before, with four massive free nights of urban music in store for Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London from Monday 28th November 2011 to Thursday 1st December 2011. Tearing up the Brixton Academy date with Kelly on Thursday 1st December are Big Sean, Jessie J and the UK Female Allstar MC’s, a one-off collaboration with Mz Bratt, Lady Leshurr, RoxXxan, Lioness, Baby Blue and A.Dot. The Brixton Academy concert is the culmination of four days of amazing music and 1Xtra live broadcasts which kick off at the Manchester Apollo on Monday 28th November with chart-toppers Wretch 32, Dappy, Labrinth and Tinchy Stryder. The action then moves to Birmingham Academy on Tuesday 29th November where dubstep giants, Nero, headline and are joined by Skream (with Sam Frank), J. Cole and Maverick Sabre. On Wednesday 30th November Bristol Academy plays host to headlining drum ‘n’ bass stalwarts Chase and Status. Also on the bill are Benga & Youngman, Ms Dynamite and Delilah. Joining the amazing line-up each night will be a local rising talent - as part of 1Xtra's look-out for new acts from the UK music scene. This year’s fantastic line-up marks the fourth consecutive year BBC Radio 1Xtra Live has brought the biggest free urban music event to audiences across the country. Each event will simulcast live on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra and broadcast on the red button every evening from 7pm to 11pm. Birmingham is the one.

We are all so accustomed to the modern point of view that many fail to realize the rich history of the native peoples. I'm from Canada and our school curriculum does not focus enough on the role native people played. I enjoyed reading your blog.
