What U Want
A cut from Lupe’s latest album, Lasers, which features the ever brilliant Kenna. I personally think this is better than half of the album. Big tune.

Lupe’s long awaited and highly anticipated 3rd studio album, Lasers, is set to be released on March 7th. Below are two of my favourite tracks from it - Coming Up is a piano driven banger, which is produced by The Future and features MDMA who appear on 3 of the 12 tracks. Secondly is the track that I was looking forward to hearing most, Break The Chain, which features Eric Turner & Sway and is produced by Ishi who is a man that has taken the UK music scene by storm over the past 12 months. On the whole this is a massive album, definitely worth purchasing, but I expect more from the next project. Lupe will always be one of my favourite rappers.
The best thing I’ve heard from Lupe’s upcoming album, Lasers. Apparently he thinks it’s the best song he’s ever made; not sure I would go that far, but it is very sick.
2nd single from Lupe’s highly controversial/highly anticipated 3rd album, LOASERS. This is a great follow up to The Show Goes On and has got me even more excited for March 8th. Lupe is a genius.
Big Tune. Big Video. Looking forward to Lasers.
While in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, Ruby Hornet got a sit down with Lupe Fiasco. The whole interview is centered around his feelings towards his upcoming LP, Lasers. Lupe talks about initially just wanting a release from his label, to the back and forth frustrations with his album being shelved, the online petitions as well as the protest infront of Atlantic Records, The Lasers Manifesto, and more. Lasers will be in stores March 8th. Very interesting.
Lupe performing the intro from his fourth album, Food & Liquor II, which is slated to drop after Lasers. This is incredible, but maybe slightly premature.
Lupe and John Legend are two of my favourite people in music. It’s always been a dream of mine to hear them on a track together and now it has finally happened. Lasers is going to be special.
Lupe is on top form at the moment. Lasers can’t come quick enough.
“2-man Big Pun, a one-man Slaughterhouse, 2-album Jay-Z, a one-nigga Wu-Tang, young and hungry Mos Def, a conscious rapper Lil Wayne. And I don’t care for similarities”
Here is a new track from Common, Lupe and Jennifer Hudson, which is produced by the one and only No I.D. Got a lot of time for this and it’s nice to finally hear Comm & Lupe on a track together. You can also listen to Lupe’s brilliant new single, The Show Goes On, HERE.
