Not a huge fan of Florence & The Machine, but her new single 'Spectrum' is without doubt one of the strongest tracks from her 2011 sophmore album 'Ceremonials'. Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris has taken the single and added his signature sound to it, which makes it perfect for the clubs this Summer. One of my favourite Calvin productions to date.

Krankbrother Street Party in Shoreditch on June 9th

Krankbrother have today announced details for their boldest party yet - a daytime street party right in the heart of Shoreditch on June 9th. They will close down Clifton Street (EC2A) in Shoreditch at both ends, and run a whole afternoon of electronic music, including performances from Wolf & Lamb, Guti, Stimming (Live), Adeline and Krankbrothers. Aside from the music, East London's answer to Notting Hill Carnival will be offering a selection of fantastic foods, top end production and a celebration of a thriving scene. Should be a pretty special day, especially if the weather stays like this.
