Here is a new mix from a mate of mine, DJ Bounce. It’s a recorded mix of all the tracks he played at Ty’s ‘Special Kind Of Fool’ live album launch party, which you can listen to here. After the jump you can find a few words from the man himself, along with the tracklist and download link.
Hey people,
Hope you’re all good. Just wanted to give you a bit of a Bounce update…
I’m currently waiting on my house to be completed & cant wait to get my new music room up & running. I’ve got a few mixes in the pipeline including volume 2 of the Ty mixtape which I’m very hyped about & a kind of follow up to the Don-E mix I did a while back, I’m gonna keep it as a bit of a surprise though.
To keep you all going I’ve recorded a mix of the tracks that I played when I was a guest at the Ty “Special Kind Of Fool” live album launch party at London’s famous Jazz Cafe in Camden. It was an honour to be able to spin at such a legendary venue & such a legendary gig too.Check the TY podcast below for an idea how good it was!
The tracklist has a few titles from previous Bounce mixes & the reason is because I wanted to play some of my favourite tracks at the gig & so they went straight to the mix.
Think of this mix as a kind of warm up for Good Sh*t Vol 3.
This mix also features an EXCLUSIVE track by the amazing Black Einstein called “Arabia” that features Maseo from the legendary Hip-Hop group De La Soul & the UK’s very own lyrical wordsmith Mystro (Mystro’s “Digmund Freud” EP is out very soon, watch this space for more info). The Black Einstein track is from the much anticipated Black Einstein EP that is based on David Bowie tracks, again keep an eye on www.BlackEinstein.co.uk for more info.

My favourite track from Stig’s latest release, Mood Swings. Album is very hit and miss, but I have a lot of time for this. He goes hard.
“Fuck trying to fit in with the white scene, where everybody dresses like an advert for Gap Jeans.”
Got so much love for this guy. Absolutely ripped the beat to pieces. Hopefully him and KanYe will actually work together in the near future.
Amazing video for Big Boi’s new single, which features the ever brilliant Yelawolf.
Favourite track from Black Milk’s latest release, Album Of The Year. It’s not MY album of the year, but it’s definitely worth a listen. Beats on it are superb.
This album is going to be monstrous. Been a long time since a KanYe song made me feel like this.
Track taken from Max Tannone’s new project, Dub Kweli. Not sure I like it as much as Mos Dub, but it’s still sick and a brilliant free download. Hope he does a few more of these - easy listening.
Really nice to hear KRS-One back to the top of his game. This is a great album and I personally believe a lot of that is down to True Master’s exceptional production. KRS-ONE and Wu-Tang fans will not be disappointed. Here is my favourite track from the album.
