After bringing you the news of Jack Beats' brand new interactive 'Revolution' tour a couple of months ago, I am now pleased to offer you the chance to see the Electronic duo at their gig in Leeds on March 16th. Metropolis & Bigger Than Barry have teamed up with the city's newest club, Mint Warehouse, to provide the perfect setting for this incredible new show, which has been produced by the Bionic League, a team who have handled production for the likes of Daft Punk & Deadmau5 in the past. The line-up also sees Sam Frank & Dismantle make their Leeds debut, with Manchester-based group North Base bringing their bass-heavy show to town as well.
All you need to do to win the tickets (two spaces on the guestlist) is e-mail your name, Twitter name and answer to: tjc89209@hotmail.co.uk
What Dancehall/Garage legend features on the forthcoming Jack Beats single 'You Should Know'?
The competition will be open until Sunday 11th March @ 10pm. Oh, and you must be over 18. Good luck!
Fake Blood, one of the world's most diverse and forward-thinking Electronic producers, puts his own wonky twist on the new single from UK rapper Sway. The original is massive, and is without doubt going to be a hit when it drops next month, but this is special. One of my favourite Blood productions for a long time.
Following on from the release of his new single 'Better Than A BMX' this weekend, Hervé has today dropped off his new mixtape, which is an hour long showcase of his favourite tracks at the minute, a few unreleased gems and some massive exclusives from his Cheap Thrills imprint. One of the best producers/DJs around - he never fails. Check out the tracklist after the jump and download HERE.
After bursting onto the scene in early 2011 following their first single being signed to Steve Angello's label, and with their second and third singles being well received from all corners, Third Party have now let loose their remix of the uncensored version of Stooshe's new single. The track doesn't appear on the official EP, and there is no word on whether it's going to be released, but it's the most unique remix out of the lot and is sure to go down well in the clubs. Support 'Love Me' HERE.
Madeon, the 17 year old French Pop/House producer who first came to attention in 2011 after his incredible Pop Culture Mashup created entirely using a Novation Launch Pad went viral on YouTube, today released his brand new track Icarus on Beatport. With an infectious beat and original electro house feel the track is sure to be received well and seems just another example of the potential that can come from a teenager with a passion for music, a laptop and little else. Watch this space, there's sure to be more to come from this one. Pick up your copy HERE.
Seige comes through with a pulsating Electro-House remix of the massive new single from Adam F, 'When The Rain Is Gone'. The track is currently up for free download on Seige's SoundCloud, but will also be featuring on the full package, which is set to be released 25th March on 3Beat Records. Big tune, big remix.
Not a massive fan of the new Labrinth single, and feel it's a slight step backwards after 'Earthquake', but this Knife Party remix brings the track to life and is exactly what was needed. Rob Swire & Gareth McGrillen can do no wrong at the minute. Available on March 11th, you can pre-order HERE.
Sampling the classic 'Push The Button' by The Chemical Brothers, here is a pulsating new Electro-House track from Starkillers & Dmitry KO.
Premiered last night on Pete Tong's essential mix show, here is a smashing Electro remix from Wolfgang Gartner of the new single from Swedish band Miike Snow's forthcoming sophmore album. Twisting, turning.
