A live video of this being premiered surfaced last week, but now we have the studio version of Skrillex's monstrous remix of Avicii's hit single 'Levels'. It's been a pretty immense year for the Dubstep star thus far, and this is another banger to add to his already incredible back catalogue.
Following the preview a few weeks ago, here is the full version of my favourite track from Knife Party's forthcoming EP, No Modern Talking. The EP is the first release from Pendulum duo Rob Swire & Gareth McGrillen, and will be available as a free download on December 12th. Massive.
Better known for his straight up Dubstep productions, Zeds Dead has now blessed up with this Electro-House banger, which was released yesterday on the ever-growing Dim Mak Records. Love the synths, and adore the progression of the track as a whole. Buy HERE.
After bringing you the A-Trak remix the other day, here is Manchester-based collective North Base's take on the massive new single from Laidback Luke & Sander Van Doorn. North Base includes Silver, Prophecy, Sonic, Microcosm, Ikee B & MC Longman, who have all been a part of the Manchester scene from the early beginnings of Electronic music, but now they have come together to provide us with a fresh and relevant sound that still has elements of their old skool style. They have lots of new remixes on the way, and you will be able to catch them at places such as Global Gathering, Invincible Festival, Hideout, Outlook & many more in the near future. There are two Dubstep remixes available, but this is the definitely the strongest, and you can pick it up from HERE.
Ed Sheeran and Chase & Status last night headlined the first of two XFM Winter Wonderland charity gigs - it wasn't the greatest event I've ever been to, but the line-up was pretty huge and it was nice to see Chase & Status' final show of 2011 blow the roof off a capacity Manchester Apollo. December 15th will see XFM bring there special brand to London's Brixton academy with an indie focussed line-up of The Horrors, Kaiser Chiefs, The Maccabees, Band Of Skulls and We Are Augustines. Not my cup of tea.
Some cool visuals for the new collaborative single from Dub Phizix & Skeptical, which features Strategy on the vocals. Sick beat, sick bars, sick track - big movements in Manchester. Available to pre-order HERE on December 9th and it will be out December 19th.
UKF posted this new track from Sub Focus last night, which will be available as a free download from HERE at 7pm tonight. A big tune from one of the most talented producers in Electronic music. Diversity is the key.
Many of you will remember Rusher from his time with Example during the What We Made days, but now he is working at Radio 1, and is back with a laid back Dubstep remix for the lead single from Dems' new EP. Love this, and miss his work.
During his mind-blowing set for 1Xtra last night, Skream dropped this exclusive play of his remix for Rusko's new single 'Somebody To Love', which features the wonderful Vula Malinga on vocals. Sounds huge.
