Dub Rocca wins Artful & Kal Lavelle remix competition

A couple of months ago I brought you information about a competition that Artful was running for his latest single, which features Irish singer/songwriter Kal Lavelle. The remixes flooded in, with some smashing attempts along the way, but it was Dub Rocca's Drumstep take on the song that has gone on to take the title. The young producer now gets the chance to have his mix released and promoted as an EP, and will get a chance to remix the next single, with the possibility of spending a day with Mark in the studio. A great remix, especially the second half.

Dot Rotten - Overload

Premiered just moments ago as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record in the World, here is the new single from Grime MC Dot Rotten, which is produced by TMS and samples the classic trance track 'Children' by Robert Miles. A wonderful reworking of one of the most iconic dance anthems of all-time. Very much looking forward to Dot's album.

Porter Robinson - Language

After touring the world with the likes of Skrillex, Zedd & Tiesto, releasing his debut EP on OWSLA and graduating from high school in 2011, 19 year old Porter Robinson is back with his brand new single. The track is called 'Language', is one of the best tracks of 2012 so far and is set for release on April 10th through Ministry of Sound. What a talented young man.

Rusko - Love No More

'Love No More' is my favourite track from Rusko's highly anticipated sophmore album 'Songs', which is the follow up to his debut 'OMG!' back in 2010. Personally, I felt as though his debut album was a bit all over the place, but he seems to have found a real direction with this release, bringing together Dubstep & Reggae to create an album that will be perfect to stick on and run from start to finish during those BBQ days this Summer. As heard on Sirius XM this weekend, here is a radio rip of the first remix for the lead single from Flux Pavilion's forthcoming debut album, which features singer/rapper/songwriter Example. The remix comes from OWSLA signee Dillon Francis, who takes the original and flips it on its head by adding his pulsating signature sound, which we have all come to love over the past 12 months.
