Over the past few years Dubstep has gone from an underground English movement, to a genre of music that features regularly in charts all around the world. One man who has been at the forefront of the rise in fame of Dubstep is Skrillex, who has today been announced as the headline act for an exclusive UK date at The Warehouse Project on Thursday 6th December. He is not on tour and wasn't scheduled to be landing in the UK at all this winter, but has decided to come and put the new venue through its paces, literally. He's going to be picking the rest of the line-up, which will be announced soon - for now, tickets go on sale 9am Friday morning.

The beautiful London-based artist was in the Live Lounge as part of a massive Fresh Live session last night, and if this is anything to go by, Fleur is a name that you need to be looking out for in 2013. Trap is a genre of music that is gaining momentum by the day in this country, drawing on influences from both Hip-Hop & Dubstep, and is showing no sign of slowing down. A few minutes ago Dubstep duo Koan Sound took to SoundCloud to upload a new track taken from their forthcoming EP 'The Adventures Of Mr Fox', which is forthcoming on OWSLA. Always been a fan of these guys, but this is especially cool, and has been the most played on the EP thus far.
