Had a quiet day off work, so I decided to put a little Dubstep/Drum & Bass mix together. Some brand new bits, some old skool classics and some tracks that you may have missed out on. Listen/download below and find the tracklist after the jump. Hope you all enjoy.
Following the success of his To The Stars EP and the North American tour that has just ended, Mau5trap signee Feed Me today dropped his new single, which features Rock/Indie band Hadouken! A huge Dumstep track from the guy who also produced Example's new single, Midnight Run, which is out on December 4th.
Figure continues the lead up to Halloween with another scary Drumstep track, Michael Myers Is Dead, which is up for free download on his SoundCloud page - this guy optimises filthy bass music. Monsters Of Drumstep out NOW.
Figure & Gangsta Fun hook up for this sick bass-heavy Drumstep track - it is taken from the Monsters Of Drumstep Vol. 2 album, which is the first release on newly formed label Doom. Pick up your copy of this track below and check out the rest of the album HERE. Big.
Released earlier this week on Killpop Records, here is the new single from Chicago based Electronic outfit, Midnight Conspiracy. One of the best ElectroDub tracks of 2011. Get your copy HERE.
Here is the follow up single to Labrinth's debut, Let The Sunshine, which is set to be released next month on Syco. The beat is incredible, but the lyrics do nothing for me - they have no real meaning and let the song down massively. Quite disappointed, because this could have been a truly brilliant song - however, saying that, it's still got all the right elements to make it a guaranteed hit. As well as the original you can also catch Eyes' monstrous Drumstep remix below, which will feature on the official EP - a very talented young man. Pre-order HERE.
Dirtyphonics are back with a monstrous remix of The Crystal Methods' new single, which will be available mid-September on the Play For Real EP. These guys have such a unique sound and execute the Dubstep/Drum & Bass crossover better than anyone else. Would be nice to hear a studio album at some point in the near future, because their remixes in 2011 have been nothing short of spectacular.
A filthy piece of Drumstep from Mark Instinct & Adroa's collaborative EP, which was released on Beatport yesterday. Get your copy HERE and try to not go crazy on the drop. Unbelievably huge tune.
Drum & Bass legend and Ram Records owner Andy C puts his own unique twist on the euphoric new single from Example & Laidback Luke. A Drumstep banger that follows on from the two brilliant remixes by Skream & Benny Benassi. Pre-Order HERE.
Premiered tonight as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World, here is the incredible Drumstep remix of Ed Sheeran's second single from the upcoming debut album, +. The drop causes proper screw face time. Album is out September 12th - pre-order the deluxe version HERE.
