Following on from his 2011 release 'Divergent Spectrum', Bassnectar is now readying his forthcoming sophmore album 'VAVA VOOM', which is set to drop later this year. 'Ugly' is the first track to leak from the project, features Amp Live and starts off with that typical Bassnectar Dubstep sound, before ending up as a mind-blowing Drumstep track by the end - brilliant track progression/structure.

Released yesterday, 'Better Than A BMX' is the new single from Cheap Thrills label owner Hervé, who for the past 5 years has been one of the most diverse and forward-thinking producers in the UK music scene. The original is an infectious piece of Electro-House, with the Afghan Headspin remix providing a massive Drumstep alternative. There is also a sick remix from Sedat the Turkish Avenger on the EP, and you can pick them all up HERE.

'Subsidary' is the title track and my favourite track from Dabs' new EP, which is the latest release on Ant TC1's brilliant Leeds-based label, Dispatch Recordings. Aside from this, the Italian-born producer has drafted in Amoss to join forces on 'Stendhal', whilst Safire goes to work alongside Dabs on 'Time Carrier' to create a D&B grinder.

My favourite track from High Contrast's brand new album 'The Agony & The Ecstasy', which was released today on Hospital Records. 'Wish You Were Here' once again features the enchanting vocals of Selah Corbin, who appears on two other tracks, including the second single/title track. This opitimises everything I love about High Contrast's music, but the album as a whole is a rather underwhelming listen, with a few glimpses of genius - be sure to check out 'Father, Can't You See I'm Burning?' & 'All There Is'. Hospitality are set to embark on their highly anticipated Spring tour of the USA & Canada next month, with their incredible Drum & Bass show landing in 12 cities across North America. The main acts with be High Contrast, Netsky & Dynamite MC, with Austrain duo Camo & Krooked appearing at a number of selected the shows. 'Deep In My Heart' is the new single from Drum & Bass producer Hamilton, which was given its first spin by Mistajam a couple of days ago and is set for release in a few months on Andy C's ever impressive RAM Records. His recent-ish remixes for Blackout, Hyper, Jasper Forks and Enter Shikari have all been massive, but hopefully this single will take him to a whole new level.

'Out Of The Blue' is the brand new single from Drum & Bass legend Sub Focus, which features the wonderful Alice Gold and is set for an April 29th release on Mercury. Euphoric vibes, and a track that he will no doubt be closing his sets with over the Summer months.
